Colorado has the 8th largest Latino population in the United States. As of 2023, Latinos are the second-largest racial/ethnic group in Colorado, making up 22% of the population. The median annual personal earnings of Latinos in Colorado beyond the age of 16 is $25,000, totaling 18% who fall below the poverty line. Many Coloradan Latinos struggle with daily necessities such as rent, food, healthcare and transportation. The current economic state is especially critical for the 37% of Latinas who are the sole breadwinners for their families.

Women leading in business provides economic and social opportunities and increased control of their careers. The Latina Initiative amplifies the economic power of women in Colorado. We use our platform to empower Latina voters to support economic policies recognizing the value and impact of women's contributions to our economy. These policies include accountability for equal pay, access to education, and fairness in business and career opportunities. Your vote can help.
