Latina Initiative works to increase the impact and influence of Latina voters by promoting and implementing culturally responsive, relevant, innovative, and inclusive communication, education, and voter engagement strategies.
PRIORITIES
The Latina Initiative strives to support and encourage Latinas of all ages to stand up for their community and families’ health, education, economic power, and environmental impact.
IMPACT
Latinas make up the second-largest voting group in the United States, with higher voter turnout than Latino men. In 2020, most Colorado Latina voters were 18-29 years old, making up about 26% of Latino voter turnout in the state.
MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD
In 2020, Latino voter turnout attained a record high of 54% in the United States. During that time, 50% of all Latina-eligible voters cast their ballot, compared to 45% of Latino men.
